Privacy policy

Yanta (Ian & Kate Mooring) operates this website. We're a family plant hire and civil business based near Rockhampton, Queensland, and we handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, company (if given), the job location and the details of the machine or service you're asking about. We also record which page you enquired from and, if you arrived from an ad, basic campaign information (such as UTM tags or click identifiers) so we know which advertising works.

Like most websites, we use analytics and advertising tags (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel) that collect standard usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. These tools use cookies or similar identifiers. You can limit them with your browser settings or ad preferences on those platforms.

Why we collect it

One reason: to respond to your enquiry with a quote and organise the hire or job you asked about. Campaign information is used only to measure our own advertising. We don't sell your information, rent it out, or use it for anything unrelated to your enquiry.

Who handles it

Form submissions are delivered to us by our form provider and arrive as email to our business inboxes. Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google and Meta under their own privacy policies. Beyond those service providers, your details stay with us.

Retention and deletion

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle the job and our business records, and no longer. If you'd like the information you've sent us corrected or deleted, contact us and we'll do it — email admin@yanta.com.au or ring 0429 165 375 and ask.
